Terms and Conditions

  1. Member Account, Password, and Security
    • Only businesses can set up an account for monthly invoicing.
    • Users must provide current, complete, and accurate registration information.
    • Users are responsible for maintaining account security and notifying Peppercorn Catering of any unauthorized use.
    • Users may be held liable for losses incurred due to unauthorized use of their account.
  2. Account Set-Up / Online Ordering
    • To place an online order, create an account, sign in, and order.
    • Provide a 24-hour phone number for deliveries outside business hours.
    • In case of item unavailability, Peppercorn Catering will contact you.
  3. Payment
    • Payments are accepted visa Visa and Mastercard when available (coming soon)
    • Bank transfer to the account specified in email and on Invoice*
    • *A deposit may be required for certain orders.
    • Invoices are emailed unless otherwise requested.
    • Pre-approved accounts have specific payment terms based on the order date.
  4. Pricing Information
    • All menu prices exclude GST (15% added at payment stage).
    • Prices are in $NZD and may change without notice.
  5. Trading Hours
    • Catering is available seven days a week with specific terms for weekend orders and Public Holidays.
  6. Pre-Booking Events
    • Price guarantees apply only to fully paid accepted orders placed more than three months in advance.
  7. Dietary Requirements
    • Dietary needs must be arranged in advance and will be labeled accordingly.
    • Our catering facility handles a variety of ingredients, including nuts and other potential allergens. While we take measures to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our preparation area is free from allergens. Please inform us of any specific dietary needs or allergies.
  8. Special Requests and Menus
    • Custom menus can be arranged via email.
  9. Email or Telephone Bookings
    • Orders must be confirmed via email to proceed.
    • Quotes are sent via email and must be accepted before Booking Is Confirmed for Account holders.
    • Website orders are not confirmed until a confirmation email has been sent and payment has been made.
  10. Cut-Off Time
    • Final numbers for all catering is required 24 hours prior to delivery date. Orders placed and paid for within 24 hours of this time will be final.
    • Late orders should be phoned directly to check availability.
  11. Same Day Catering
    • Same-day requests are subject to availability.
  12. Saturday and Sunday Orders
    • Weekend Website orders must be placed by 5 pm Thursday prior and may incur a minimum charge (please contact us).
  13. Refunds – Online Ordering
    • Credit card refunds may incur a 3.4% charge.
  14. Delivery
    • Standard delivery times are 8 am – 4 pm Monday to Friday for website orders.
    • Delivery fees apply based on postcode.
    • We cannot guarantee delivery times due to traffic conditions being out of our control. Please allow 15 minutes either side of delivery target time for delivery.
  15. Minimum Orders
    • Minimum order amounts apply.
  16. Pick Up / Collections
    • Orders may be collected by prior arrangement.
  17. Cancellations/Postponements – Account Holders Only
    • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the booking time for full refunds to apply. Orders not cancelled within this time frame will be charged 100% due to ingredient and preparation costs.
  18. Cancellations – Private/One-Off Orders
    • Specific refund policies apply based on the timing of the cancellation.
  19. Changes to Numbers
    • Increases in numbers on the event day must be phoned in or via email. Any changes to numbers must be confirmed within 24 hours of the delivery or pick up time.
  20. COVID-19 Policies
    • Standard cancellations or postponements due to lockdowns or restrictions apply.
  21. Health and Safety / Food Handling
    • Peppercorn Catering is not liable for food safety after delivery.
    • we adhere to strict hygiene and food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Our team follows all necessary precautions during food preparation and delivery to prioritize the well-being of our customers.
  22. Equipment
    • Catering is delivered on platters or Disposable boxes unless otherwise requested. All non disposable platters need to be cleaned prior to collection by us, or a cleaning fee of $10 may be applied.
    • Staff hire is available with a minimum charge and specific terms for additional hours.
    • Food delivered on non-disposable platters must be cleaned before being picked up or returned to Peppercorn Catering. A $10 cleaning surcharge may apply for dirty returns.
  23. Subscribers List
    • Online orders may result in email subscriptions for promotional content.
  24. Late Payment
    • Late payments incur interest and potential debt recovery fees.

  26. Complaints, Refunds, and Credits

DISCLAIMER: While every care is taken to avoid allergens, it is a legal requirement to state that products may contain: wheat, gluten (barley, oats, rye, wheat), egg, soy, lupin, milk, peanuts and sesame. Traces of nuts such as almond, brazil nut, cashew, hazelnut, macadamia, pecan, pine nut, pistachio and walnut may be present. Seafood options may contain fish, crustacea and mollusks. Tomato sauce may contain sulphites.
